Well, I should have made a post yesterday about being closed for the day. But instead today I want to say THANK YOU. Thank you for not only helping us have a great summer so far, but also for being so understanding and patient and allowing everyone who works at Pico to have an awesome day off together yesterday. And we can’t recommend @mauijackswaterpark enough- what a great place to hang out for the day!
Ok, so I knowwww it’s the middle of July and back to school seems sooo far away, but hear me out: @mannacafeci is collecting school supplies for students in the area and we want to help them out. On our tables you will find these little signs with specific items that are needed and where you can drop them off.
Looking something that’s a little bit sweet and a little bit spicy for your lunch today? I mean, who isn’t, right? Today’s special is crispy sweet potato fries topped with braised chipotle beef, local peach & habanero salsa and charred green onions! Pairs perfectly with a coke and a summer afternoon.
Heads up! We’re going to close an hour early this evening (7:00!) so that we can get everyone out of here in time to enjoy the last little bit of the holiday with their families. Thanks in advance for being understanding!
Yesterday’s produce pic is today’s BLT 🌮! Housemade bacon loaded up with local arugula, basil and balsamic torpedo onions and our very own roasted garlic aioli and sun dried tomatoes.
